3mm M5 Metric thread.

Finish:

• Charcoal, Titanium PVD coated bolt head for added hardness and abrasion resistance.

• Thread retains its natural CNC machined finish and tight tolerances.

Unique Finish Note:

• The result of a happy accident. Identical to our Charcoal Ultra Low Profile Bidon Cage Bolts except for the unique plasma coating on one side of the thread.

• During coating - Titanium PVD processing, a rare flash of plasma licked one side of a very limited amount of our Charcoal, Ultra Low Profile Bidon Cage Bolts. The plasma looks beautiful, rich and rainbow like.

• The conditions that created this event may never happen again. Instead of removing the plasma, we left it on. It poses no danger or a negative attribute to our precision machined bolt, it can be removed if you wish or it will gradually wear off over time.

• The plasma is on one side as pictured, like a diagonal line, only part of the thread is coated with plasma.

• No two are the same.

Assembly / Installation:

• Prototipo Works strongly recommends the use of a lithium based anti seize assembly lubricant during the installation of our hardware. An anti seize assembly lubricant helps prevent seizing, galling, cold-welding, and the fusing of metal on metal threaded components. Ideal for salty environments, humid environments, in the presence of water, moisture, sweat and ingress.

• Please ensure all mating threads and installation tools are the correct size, are clean, free of damaging burrs and inserted straight. These special lightweight bolts are for light load duties only!

• Maximum Torque 3-5Nm. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
